The Undergraduate Anthropology Advisory Board would like to invite you to a casual brown bag lunch this Thursday February 19th at 1:30pm in the anthropology department lounge on the third floor of the Penn Museum. We'll be chatting with anthropology grad student Liz Erkenbrack about her research on Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs), particularly World of Warcraft. In her own words, Liz looks at the "socio-cultural and economic implications of playing the game" and analyzes "various forms of discourse used at different points in the game".
